Mock The Week Lands Second Series on TLC

Mock The Week has been commissioned for a second on TLC.

Dara O Briain will once again host, with regular Rhys James also confirmed to be returning as a regular panelist.

The duo are set to be joined by other familiar faces and new panellists as 11 hour-long episodes have been ordered to air from September, including Christmas and end-of-year specials.

‘What? Another series?’ said Dara. ‘I thought we’d solved all the world’s problems in this series. Oh, all right. Bring me more news!’

With the sixth episode of the current, 22nd series broadcasting on Sunday, the satirical revival has averaged audiences of more than 600,000, rising to more than a million an episode with repeats.
