Glowing reviews land for Off The Kerb acts at Edinburgh Fringe 2024

Reviews are coming in for shows at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and Off The Kerb are proud to see a flurry of delighted critics sharing their thoughts on our 2024 shows.

Adam Hills‘ Shoes Half Full receives five stars from Broadway Baby for ‘A gorgeous, generous and ultimately optimistic hour’, and Elliot Steel‘s Soft Boi Core gets four stars in both Beyond The Joke and from Chortle (‘Told with passion, style and verve’).

Ivo Graham‘s Carousel began picking up extraordinary reviews before even reaching Edinburgh with Broadway World’s five star review calling it ‘A beautiful work of storytelling’ and Everything Theatre’s review also giving five stars and describing it as ‘A perfectly balanced piece of theatre’. Ivo also gets five stars from one4review for Grand Design which ‘cements Ivo Graham’s status as one of the finest comedians of his generation’, and four stars from Entertainment Now who say ‘You’d be mad to miss him’.

Jack Skipper‘s Skint gets four stars from Entertainment Now as well as in Fest who call it ‘A charming and instantly relatable hour’, while Susie McCabe‘s Merchant of Menace gets four stars in Edinburgh Festival Magazine.

Last of all, it’s hard to know where to start with Marjolein Robertson, whose show O – already on Chortle’s most anticipated – gets four-and-a-half stars from one4review and The Quinntessential Review, who call it ‘Delightfully written and captivating’ and ‘Powerful, bizarre, and hilarious in equal measure’ while also picking up four star reviews from Chortle, On The Mic, The Independent, and The List.

Congratulations to all acts involved, and please check back for more reviews as the festival continues. All information and tickets for our shows can be found on the Edinburgh Festival page.
