Josh Widdicombe Announced as New Presenter for Strictly Come Dancing
The BBC and BBC Studios have announced their brand new presenting line-up for Strictly Come Dancing 2026, and revealed there will be three hosts for the first time ever.
Off The Kerb’s Josh Widdicombe secured one of the hotly contested roles, alongside presenter Emma Willis and professional dancer Johannes Radebe. This autumn, the trio will preside over the Strictly ballroom in spectacular style, marking an exciting new era for the BBC’s glittering hit entertainment show.
Josh says: ‘Dancing the Charleston dressed as a penguin for the 2024 Christmas Special of Strictly remains my career high point, so I am giddy with excitement, honoured, and a little overawed to be given the chance to step into the biggest shoes in television. I adore Emma and Jojo and can’t wait to spend my weekends with them. I’ll dust off the penguin costume.’
Strictly Come Dancing is a BBC Studios Entertainment production for BBC One and BBC iPlayer, commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC.
