Rob Beckett: Giraffe Comedy Special to Air on Sky One

Tune in to Sky One this Good Friday, 3rd April 2026! Repeating Saturday 4th and Wednesday 8th April.

Bobby Beckles, one of the UK’s finest comedians, brings his smash hit, complete sellout tour Giraffe to our screens on Good Friday, premiering on Sky One.

Rob smashed the life out of the M25, M1, M5 and any other road that got in his way, taking his highly acclaimed, hilarious show up and down the UK and beyond. The tour started in 2024, culminating in nine shows at the London Palladium and selling over 200,000 tickets at 144 venues.

He burst onto the comedy circuit 17 years ago and hasn’t looked back since. Star of the consistently chart-topping podcast Parenting Hell and Sky’s Rob And Romesh Vs, Rob took Giraffe everywhere, from Bromley to Brisbane, ensuring his audiences laughed and forget about their problems for a couple of hours.

Rob said: ‘Stand up comedy is the thing I love most in the world. From watching all the greats on VHS and DVD as a kid, through to doing my first stand up gig 17 years ago. Since then, I’ve become obsessed with getting better and better at it. This show Giraffe is a culmination of all that hard work. It’s the funniest and most honest show I have ever done. I just hope the people that watch it enjoy it as much as I enjoyed performing it. ‘cos I f***ing loved it.’

As well as Sky’s hit Rob And Romesh Vs, which he does with fellow comedian and best mate Romesh Ranganathan, the pair have also co-hosted The Royal Variety Performance – the first time two comedians had hosted the event together in over 30 years – and the BAFTA TV Awards in 2023 and 2024.

Rob can also be heard alongside his other comedy, Josh Widdicombe hosting their highly successful podcast Parenting Hell, interviewing fellow parents on their successes (or most likely failures) at parenting. With over 500 million downloads, guests have included George Foreman, Kerry Godliman, Jack Dee, Katherine Ryan and Jonathan Ross amongst many others. In 2023, the podcast hit the road on the Parenting Hell Live Arena Tour, playing to sold out arenas up and down the nation. The pair even co-wrote the Sunday Times Bestselling book, Parenting Hell, a first-hand account of the challenges and chaos of their parenting journeys.
