Rosie Jones signs a further three-book deal

Following the stand-out launch of her hilarious debut middle-grade fiction series, The Amazing Edie Eckhart, beloved comedian and TV regular Rosie Jones has signed a further three-book deal with Hachette Children’s Group.

Sparky, self-assured, and secure in her own skin, Edie shines in Rosie’s middle-grade series written with humour and heart in diary form, illustrated by Natalie Smillie. Polly Lyall Grant, Senior Commissioning Editor, acquired world rights from Flo Howard at Off The Kerb. The third book in the hilarious The Amazing Edie Eckhart series will publish on the Hodder Children’s Books imprint in August 2023 with the next fiction title to publish in August 2024.

February 2024 also will see the publication of Rosie’s debut non-fiction book, Moving On Up: Beat the bullies, make fearless friendships and deal with funny fails. This ultimate school survival guide for 9 to 11-year-olds will be packed with Rosie’s trademark warmth, humour and good sense. With funny stories, top tips, and witty illustration, it will entertain and reassure readers preparing to move schools.
