Unacceptable Renewed for a Second Series on TLC Ahead of Sunday’s Premiere

Warner Bros. Discovery (UK & Ireland) has commissioned a second series of new comedy panel show Unacceptable for TLC, ahead of the first series premiere this Sunday (5th July) at 9:00 pm.

Unacceptable is hosted by Ed Gamble, with Richard Ayoade and Joanne McNally as team captains. Produced by Ranga Bee Productions, the format pits two teams of comedians against each other as they try to win over a live studio audience with bold, outrageous and questionable opinions. A live ‘swingometer’ tracks the audience’s shifting views, while challenges put the comedians’ arguments to the test. In the ‘stitch up round’, comedians must defend unseen opinions written by the opposing team.

Series one guests include Maisie Adam, Guz Khan, Joel Dommett, Katherine Ryan, Tom Davis and executive producer Romesh Ranganathan, alongside Alex Brooker, Lou Sanders, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Sarah Keyworth, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Rhys James, Suzi Ruffell, Harriet Kemsley, Chris McCausland, Geoff Norcott, Lucy Beaumont, Ivo Graham, Jessica Knappett, Roisin Conaty, Sophie Willan, Catherine Bohart and Vittorio Angelone.

The newly confirmed second series will run for eight episodes, including a Christmas special, and is set to air on TLC from November.

Unacceptable follows the final episode of Mock the Week: Summer Specials, which airs at 10:00 pm this Sunday, straight after the Unacceptable premiere. Both shows will be available to stream on discovery+ following broadcast.
